History of Gucci Watches
Guccio Gucci, son of an Italian trader founded the House of Gucci in Florence in 1906. Guccio, an extraordinary craftsman, started selling luxury goods in the 1920s. The plan to take control of the whole market got a boost in the year 2000 when it acquired Boucheron International group. It created a ripple effect in the market by securing license rights to run ‘Yves Saint Laurent Couture’ watches.

By initiating such steps, Gucci made a place for itself in the luxury goods market as well.
