So, you have the distinct honor of planning your best friend's bachelorette party? Planning one can be so much fun! Oh, wait. There's a problem. You are not sure what to do because money is pretty tight now for everyone involved? Don't fret. I will give you some ideas for a great bachelorette party that won't break any one's wallet.
Bachelorette Party Planning on a tight budget doesn't you've got to give the bride a cheap party. The ideas presented here will never give her any idea that you were trying to save money.
The first thing you will have to do to keep the cost down is have the party some place local. Meaning, no journeys to Vegas. Sorry. This leaves you with two options. You may have the party at someone's house, or you can celebrate out in public.
The best thing for your financial position is going to be a night in. The majority of your money will be spent on alcohol and entertainment. Martinis and other hard liquor drinks will run you $9 a piece ( of course, it all depends on the city you are partyng in, and up. A good cash saving idea ( if you positively must go out ) is to drink a lot before you even go out ( but don't forget to get yourself a appointed driver ).
Buy alcohol and get a bartending book. It is straightforward enough for you and your buddies to make the same drinks as you can get at a bar - and at a fraction of the price tag. You may even see if one of your male chums would be willing to tend bar for your party.
For entertainment, you'll want to skip over the strippers. It's not just the price of hiring one, but the never-ending dollar bills you will be stuffing down his pants. If you really need a stripper/dancer, there's an alternative. You might see whether one of your male friends ( maybe the barkeeper you convinced to help at your party ) would be ready to dance for you.
