Paint to use on a ceramic mug?
I was going to make mugs for my friends for Christmas, but it turns out the shop in my town requires you take a class before you use ceramics. So, I was going to buy a few mugs from the store and paint them. Is there a certain paint you could use on ceramics that won't come off when you wash them/etc. without firing them?

You do not want to use enamel paint that is designed for model cars, etc... They are not food safe.
There are ceramic paints out there designed for already fired ceramics and is food safe. Pebeo is one. I have included a link to an art supply house I have used and been very satisfied with. The link goes directly to the pebeo ceramic paints.
