How long does it take for a cut muscle to heal?
I cut a section of the muscle controling my thumb and forfinger with a professional grade chef's knife. The cut is a clean cut, no jagged edges. Just like when you cut meat. The knife stopped when it hit bone. I got stitches and have no complications due to the knife hitting the bone. I am a teenager (just incase that affects the answere) and cant move my thumb or forfinger without excrusiating pain.
I have a splint for both my thumb and my forfinger(seperate ones, I couldn't find a combined one) I can't move them much.
the prevous person answering this question is 100% right, your thumb and forfinger should be immobilized until it is healed, if you cut it that deep, you probably severed the tendon also, you are definately gong to need physical therapy once it is healed
