Pans with metal handles...Do they burn your hand?

I am wishing to buy a new set of saucepans. I have noticed that a lot of very nice and expensive saucepans have metal handles. See this link for example:

It depends on what type of metal the pan and its handle are made out of. Some metals are better conductors of heat than others. If there is any type of plastic between the pan and the handle then the intense heat shouldn't leak through.
