Help installing the Sims Expansion collection?
I have the Sims expansion collection. (Sims deluxe edition, vaction, unleashed, hot date and makin magic) I have a laptop with the windows vista program. I installed the Deluxe edition, vaction and hot date and that worked fine. Then, after I bought hot date and making magic. When I tried to install them, it would work anymore. So, I tried uninstalling everything of the computer and start again. It didn't work I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. So then I installed it on a different computer and it works fine. When I try to install it on the latop, it tells me that I installed other expansion packs, and it needs to update. This is what happened when i installed on my other computer. So, after i approved that, it asked if i wanted to uninstall the game. This didn't happen with the other computer. So, when I click NO, the whole thing exits. Any suggestions on how to make it work?
Try installing the expansions in order of appearance. It is possible that you won't be able to run the Sims on a computer with Windows Vista OS.
