I have been invited to a chili supper with some co-workers. The person who invited and hosting us is making the chili. One person is bringing a relish plate, another is bringing drinks, another is bringing cheese and crackers. I have been asked to bring something for dessert.
Does anyone have any suggestions of what kind of dessert might be a good complement for chili?
Warn apple pie to be served with either vanilla ice cream or cheddar cheese left over from the cheese platter. People who don't like pie can have ice cream (so maybe bring some chocolate sauce as well). Personally after chili there's nothing I like better than warn apple pie with a slab of sharp cheddar cheese.
