Things To Keep In Mind While Selecting A Commercial Unit From A Freezer Sale
No commercial establishment today can do without a commercial freezer. Restaurants, hotels, cafes and bars need large quantities of food items and beverages on a daily basis since they could possibly serve hundreds of customers each day. Normal refrigerators have very small freezer compartments so it becomes necessary to invest in a good quality commercial freezer which meets all the requirements of the business.
A freezer sale is the best place to purchase a freezer. Normally, a freezer sale would have plenty of varieties of commercial freezers so users will have plenty of choices available to them. There are different types of freezers available for different types of commercial establishments so it is best to spend some time browsing through all the options before making the decision.
Things to Consider
Before investing in a commercial freezer from a freezer sale it is important to keep a few basic things in mind to make the right decision:
* The most important thing to consider is the type of freezer to invest in. There are several types of freezers available today from chest freezers to upright freezers to glass door freezers. If you have a store where it will be necessary to display the food items to customers, it is best to invest in a glass door freezer. If the business serves ice cream, there are special glass topped ice cream freezers available with different compartments for different flavors.
* Once the type of freezer is decided on, the next factor to keep in mind is the size of the freezer. All types of commercial freezers are available in different sizes so it is best to know the requirement of the business and accordingly decide on the size of the freezer which will be needed.
* Select a model which is energy efficient. Every business should think about the ways in which it can cut down on cost and since a freezer would be running through day and night it is advisable to select one which is energy efficient in order to save a lot on energy costs.
* With commercial freezers it is necessary that the unit should require less maintenance. No business has enough time to spend after cleaning and maintaining the unit so it is necessary to select a unit which requires virtually no care. Also check if the unit that you are selecting is served by a technician locally or not.
* Always invest in a frost free freezer since it is not practical to regularly shut down the freezer in order to defrost it. With a frost free freezer, you will not have to manually defrost the machine and you will also be able to save on energy consumption.
Selecting a freezer for commercial use is an important decision since it can have a lot of effect on the business itself. Keeping in mind the tips given above will help you make the right decision.

When a refrigerator lower section (not the upper freezer) doesnt get cold enough, where is the problem?
Is it in the sealed refrigeration system (compressor, evaporator, condensor, dryer and tubing)or outside the system, and if outside, where is it?
Is it such a defect that the refrigerator should be junked?
what does "gassing up" mean as one person notes?
empty out the freezer. Now get a screwdriver for the visible screws inside the freezer box (3 or 5). Now Lift the rear of the freezer floor where the vents are using a screwdriver. It should lift up easily. And slip it out of the front "lip" Now you should see a fan in the back. This is the fan that circulates the air . Where? The entire floor of the freezer is covered with white styrofoam. and it blows under the foam to the front. The front should not be another piece of styrofoam. It may look that way, but unplug the fridge, then go have a beer leaving the freezer door open and exposed only that far.
If you are in a rush; find a "pistol hair dryer" on low setting, and aim it at the front piece of styrofoam. (No worries mate, it is not styrofoam but ice.
Melt the ice away . No worries, as it collects in a pan at the bottom of the fridge to evaporate away.
You should see vertical fins made out of metal . Those are the cooling fins.
The fan pushes air past those fins and the air cools.. At the very front you will see vents where that air goes into(down into the fridge).
As far as I can figure it, the temperature control for the fridge closes up the vents(partially) so the bigger lower portion only receives a portion of the freezer temp. ( But I know set to full cold and my refrigerator becomes one big freezer) I have an outside thermostat laying in the fridge and am trying to get the temperature I want(34 or 36F or (2 or 3C) After the ice is gone. it works like normal. There is a heating coil in the freezer so that it does not freeze up like that and perhaps yours failed. Mine, may have but I already changed the timer so that is enough expense for now. Besides, it is not that hard to swap out (it may look like a round cylinder the size of "stacking 5 nickels with a few wires on it. It is probably that. Always pull the power cord out when doing possible electrical work. Check at your appliance store in the "parts department"
