Banquet Linen For Any Occasion You Can Fathom
A banquet is usually a very grand occasion. During the Roman times, banquets were signs of wealth and also of gluttony and extravagance. While this has changed a bit, we still consider banquets to be extreme displays of celebration.
However, every good banquet is in need of good banquet linen. But why, you might ask? Well, think of it this way.
So you're sitting there. It's a nice, hot day, and you are at a large company banquet. However, the company is using common, everyday linens. They aren't bad—not by any means. However, there is a bit of a problem. You see, where ever the smaller tablecloths join, someone has slipped a bit of food they don't like underneath. This is not only extremely disgusting, but it's also fairly probably. Especially if you are a husband or wife who sent up your S.O. while you stayed with the baby or some combination of that. And so the food sits there for a few hours, staining and liquefying and just turning more and more disgusting. Now, say that you were the one who had donated the now ruined tables.
In short, it's better to have had banquet linen in the previous scenario. True, it is highly unlikely among civilized, mature adults that this would ever happen. But…well, there is always a first time for everything.
Plus, don't forget that a nice table cloth or table skirt can really, truly spice things up. Not only does this add to the occasion but a nice table cloth or table skirt also lessens the likelihood that it will be messed up. Where can i buy white linen napkins at a reasonable price?
i am looking to buy 110 white line napkins for my wedding but cant believe how expensive they are, can anyone recommend anywhere? xx
buying napkins is very impractical (buying any of your linens is) you can rent them for cents a piece - look for any party rental company in your area the one's i am renting for my wedding are .75 cents each. and are really nice quality. I could not find any to purchase for less than that. and if i scout around some more i could probably find some to rent that are even cheaper. Another good thing about renting is it is a little friendlier on the environment because you are not going out and buying something new. You are cutting down on the amount of junk produced in the world!
