Save a Ton of Money!
I saved a ton of money last night. After we worked hard to paint Nick's room we did some yard work. Both Miranda and Nicolas did an excellent job helping and I wanted to reward them. My wife and I decided to plan dinner and a movie night.
We took our kids to see "Rio", it was really fun. I only have one complaint that portrayed Hannibal Lecter in a kids cartoon. I mean that's just horrible. If you have ever seen the movie you would not want your kids to ever know who Hannibal Lecter is. Cannibalism should not be in a kid's movie. If you see Rio carefully watch the white bird the kidnappers use to help hunt down the other birds. The love story was a bit much too considering the entire movie was about trying to get two birds to mate because they were the last female and male of their kind and would be extinct if they did not. There were some funny moments and the graphics and music were both excellent. I was amazed.
After the movies we decided have a nice Italian dinner. We ate at the macaroni grill. My wife and daughter ordered spaghetti and meatballs, my son had a cheese pizza and I had a wonderful seafood linguini with shrimp, scallops, and clams in roasted tomatoes. We had a wonderful dinner. We were seated instantly and finished our meals within 35 minutes. The staff was fast and courteous.
When we pulled onto our road all of the lights on the street were out and we noticed FPL truck working on the power lines. As we pulled into the driveway all the outside lights were off and it was pitch black. I'm dreading opening my garage door manually because I don't have power. I put the car in the park and bam the lights come on. We got lucky that we did not have to walk in the dark. What a surprise! We were lucky the entire night. Well, some of it was lucky and some of it was knowledge.
If I told you a family of four (2 kids and 2 adults) could go out to the movies and dinner for only $25 I bet it would surprise you. Our family of four did just that. My wife turns rewards into prepaid credit cards and gift cards that we cash out for family time. We are talking real money, real tangible dinner and a real movie at the theater. Yeah, it's incredible. She's been doing this for years. She started out entering and winning sweepstakes and slowly moved into a savings queen. We get checks from companies sent to us regularly. I ask my wife where we can eat at when I am in the mood to eat out. At any given time she carries a variety of restaurant gift cards were we can eat for free. It's insane! She is awesome.

I need help being more social with older kids(girls in particular).?
I am around older kids a lot for varsity sports, but I am always awkward, quiet and super self conscious around them, so much that I have kind of become paranoid about it, even though they are my team mates. Everything about them makes me just want to hide, everyone (girls, I mean) is super pretty, and I am not, all of them are outgoing with each other, but I can't for some reason. Because of this I don't get invited to many team things(that is, things that happen outside of practices such as spaghetti dinners, swimming during track season, hanging out). I know this sounds stupid, but this is on my mind a lot during cross country and track seasons. Most of them are sophmores, juniors, and seniors. Thank you for answering this. 
They're probably outgoing with eachother because they may have known eachother longer...Just relax and be yourself, theres nothing wrong with being the quiet one! You have nothing to feel awkward about...impress them with your cross counrty and track skills, thats sure to get you noticed!
Why not strike up a little conversation with some of them? Or even after a race or practice say "good job" or "great practice" and smile..small nice gestures will get you remembered
