What all can you boil using the Medela Pump in Style Advanced?
I need to clean my pump pieces, and I want to disinfect them again. I don't know which pieces I can boil though? Can I boil the tubing? The shields?
you can boil it all. if you have a dishwasher though, just put it in there. that is what the manuals say. honestly, unless your cleaning it up to sell, you really dont need to disinfect anyway. I didnt even wash with soap more than once a day, just rinsed with hot water, and didn't always even rinse. (breast milk keeps 6 hours unrefrigerated, so if you pump ever 3 hours, you only need to wash every 2 pumpings)
