Pure Water Distillers -the Truth Behind the Controversy
Let's face it. When it comes to water purification, no system can be 100% reliable and certain. Take pure water distillers, for instance. For many years distillation has been a popular choice when it comes to providing clean, safe water for household use. But now that the focus has turned to drinking water that is HEALTHY, as well as clean, distillation has become controversial. But just why would choosing a pure water distiller for your home be a cause for debate? The truth behind the controversy may help to answer that question.
Distillation is a purification process that removes naturally-occurring minerals from water. This de-mineralizing process was highly critical to the success of the photography and printing industries before the development of digital technology.
Since the distillation process was also effective at removing bacteria, pure water distillers for in-home water purification were developed and marketed to the public. Keep in mind that this was at a time when the average consumer was still pretty much in the dark about the growing levels of dangerous chemical toxins in our water supplies.
Now that we know water-borne bacteria aren't the only threat to our well-being, we are faced with the fact that distillation falls short when it comes to removing organic chemical toxins from our water.

I have found these systems to be the best at providing clean, safe AND healthy water.
Multi-stage filtration systems effectively remove sediments, dangerous levels of chlorine, organic and inorganic chemical toxins while leaving the important mineral content untouched. And here's something you may not have know: in addition to providing for our health, these minerals are what give water its pleasant taste. If you're a water connoisseur like me, a pure water distiller isn't going to give you that drinking water satisfaction you may be looking for.
There are other benefits to having a multi-stage filtration system that pure water distillers can't provide. These healthful systems are available in a variety of affordable, convenient and easy to install appliances. Over and under the counter water dispensers, shower filters and whole house systems are some of the products available to meet the water purification needs of your household.
Finding multi-stage filtration is as easy as turning on your computer and doing some simple research. I can tell you that it didn't take me long to find just what I was looking for.
So now that you know the truth behind the controversy, you might want to reconsider using pure water distillers. You don't have to take chances with the health of you and your family when there are better water purification alternatives available.
