How to choose the right table covers for your tables
I've already been in the tablecloth industry supplying all types of facilities for more than 10 years, for example, celebration rental shops, hotels, dining establishments, caterers, banquet halls, churches and someone else who uses dining amenities.
Most understand how to measure for tablecloths but also for those who do not this is the way to measure for round, square and rectangle tables.
Rectangle tables are often in 3 lengths 48, 72 and 96 inches long and so are called banquet tables and 6-ft or 8-ft tables since the most used. While the average table is 30 inches wide some vary with widths of 18, 24 and 36. Square tables would follow the identical formula.
You must decide your facilities' need for a drop, which there is no standard. How the tablecloth has to appear available is private and by choice. Some want the cloth to pay for just the top after some drop other people want it to navigate to the floor. A broad guideline is 10" towards the lap, 15" for the bottom with the chair or halfway down the table and 30" would be to a floor, if in fact the table measures 30" high. Although assisted living facilities only want a 4" drop to support wheelchairs. Note any cloth that would go to the ground needs to have rounded corners to prevent jutting out and making a methods to have somebody journey.
Once you know what drop is the best for your facility you will want to incorporate that measurement to the table measurements. For example your table measures 30x72x30, this means width, duration (table top on and peak. You want a Ten inch drop you'd add the following 10+10+30= 50 and 10+10+72= 92 therefore the tablecloth you'll need is 50x92, now some organizations only offer standard sizes so increase to a 54x96 if you cannot get the precise dimension you will need.

For measuring skirting, See whether you need to cover A few sides adding the table measurements, four sides of your 6-ft banquet. 30+30+72+72= 204 inches then become feet or 17-ft. Several vendors require skirting is purchased in increments of two it is because skirting is cut along goods and never width and most fabrics are wider than 60 inches.
To measure skirting for round skirting make circumference of the table and occasions by pie then divide by twelve five x three.14 = 15.7 or 16ft of skirting.
Often take into account whether your tables have squared or rounded corners as 1/4" will make a difference in how tablecloths lie up for grabs.
Inquire if your vendor in the event you measured properly but most producers won't recommend a drop as this can be your choice and ultimately your duty if the cloths do not match. If you can't find what you want, believe it or not, you don't want to go to the trouble of buying fabric yardage and having them made. You will have to piece the fabric to get it wide enough. Instead, buy black king size FLAT sheets and you have fabric wide enough to make the table clothes. More fabric for your money.
