i have a large steel griddle for cooking mainly bacon, its round 4 months old and i have seasoned it a fair few times, it has a black colour to the steel now, my bacon is sticking quite bad and cooking unevenly, black patches on the bacon that look burnt, i have it set at 200c. should i put oil on before cooking to help it ? or would this cause more problems, or should i put the bacon on before it has got to temp, any tips for griddle cooking appreciated, thanks
