These arrived in excellent condition in very short order. They are of high quality and are not only easier to use than the "old" pans as they seem to heat more uniformly, but also they are easier to clean.

The picture and decription of this product do not match. You will receive the set pictured. I ordered this set based on the description. Follow the advice of another reviewer and order the next set up. These are okay, but not as great as the single pieces I had previously purchased.

How bad is it to use stainless steel cooking tools on teflon cookware?
I just got a new stainless cooking tools and wonder just how much harm can be caused when they come into contact with teflon
Pots and pans coated with DuPont Teflon® nonstick have various types of coating levels that are very durable and scratch-resistant. With Teflon® Platinum Plus, for example, you can use metal utensils. For most other coatings -- and when in doubt -- use wooden or rubber spoons or spatulas. DuPont does not manufacturer the cookware itself, just the coatings. The cookware manufacturer’s directions will state whether it is safe to use metal or not.
