the host said the jug is great to cook in the microwave, and omlettes come great in them,,,, but i didnt spend $59.95 to just make omlettes,,, what else can i cook in this jug,,, i need ideas

They're Tupperware, which is for food (and other stuff) storage. Some also are for cooking. Some can be used for both. I couldn't find the jug listed anywhere on the website, but I did find the Rock n Serve set. They go directly from freezer to microwave, have a vent so can leave the cover on and you don't have to use up paper towels or plastic wrap when heating in the microwave. --
