I bought a 4 piece Wilton icing tip set but the tips and couplers are attached. What should I do?
I thought the coupler was supposed to just screw off of the tip. But since they are attached do I just cut them apart with scissors? I have to decorate 72 cupcakes and I need an answer ASAP! I can't use the tips with the decorating bag until I figure it out.
I would take it back to the store you bought it from. It is not what you want and perhaps they can give you one that suits your needs.
As for the 72 cupcakes - just ice them normally and add some sprinkles or shaved chocolate or something like that until you find the appropriate decorator for the next time.
